They left Miracle behind, no Waec, no school shoes just dreams wrapped in poverty. She was sent home from school, used nylon as a bag, hid during assemblies. Life tossed her from house to house, love to betrayal but she never stopped praying. She worked jobs others laughed at, gave love to men who only took. When the test strip turned positive, she cried, but didn't break. Now she's still standing, belly full of life, heart full of life. They thought she'd nothing. But Miracle is still rising, slowly but surely. She's not where she wants to be yet.
