My life took a dramatic turn when a motorbike rider approached my friend Ada and me. Before we could react, a man intervened, and a fight ensued. The rider sped away, but the man kidnapped us instead. We were taken to a house, where we met his "family." Just as we thought all hope was lost, he received a call and suddenly became polite. He handed us each a fifty-rupee bill and let us go. We were rescued, and the kidnapper was arrested. That experience taught me to cherish every moment and appreciate the little things in life.
