As a soldier, you've been away for long stretches……staring at your portrait makes my heart ache and long for your presence. 
My role model, you have shown me what it means to be brave, selfless and dedicated. I'm grateful for the sacrifices and hope to make you proud someday. 
I'm still the Lion you have moulded me to be.
