I remember you at sixteen, crying in your room over a dream that didn’t come true. You didn’t get to study abroad like you hoped.
You were heartbroken, but still hopeful. Discouraged, but never gave up. Five years later, I write to thank you for your faith. That experience shaped me into the erudite lady I've become.
